Meet our Jury!
Anthony DeVito is the co-founder and Festival Director of IndieBoom, and co-founder of the Art of Brooklyn Film Festival. He's a SAG-AFTRA actor, with credits that include The Morning Show, BROS, House of Cards, The Mysteries of Laura, Blindspot, Boardwalk Empire, Rescue Me, and more. He appears in the 2017 Slamdance Audience Choice winner 'Future '38' alongside Betty Gilpin (GLOW on Netflix) and Sean Young. Anthony also has over 20 years experience in the world of advertising as an award-winning art director, copywriter and creative director, working on ads and campaigns for television, print, interactive and social media at NYC's top ad agencies. He is the main creative force behind the branding, graphic design and marketing of the IndieBoom Festival.

Stef Boone has been part of the AoBFF team since 2015 and IndieBoom since 2017. She has a BFA in photography from California College of the Arts, and a Masters in film production from the University of Salford in the UK, where she worked on productions for the BBC. Stef has a long, varied background in indie film production in LA and NY, and loves to use her creative talents — which include knitting, sewing, crafting, and coding — for good causes. Script Contest Director Gina Leone has written several screenplays and TV pilots including one under consideration at Intrinsic Value Films. She works for screenwriter-producer-director Chris Soth (Firestorm) as his teaching assistant for his mentorship program. She is the Script Contest Director for the Art of Brooklyn Film Festival, and currently reads scripts for the Austin Film Festival Coverage Program, as well as a second round reader for their annual competition. Gina has been a script reader for the popular and prestigious BlueCat Screenplay Competition and is the former director of Raindance NYC – one of 11 film hubs around the world of the Raindance Film Festival headquartered in London.

Jake King has been with the Art of Brooklyn Team since 2013, originally joining as a volunteer, and has been tech director since 2018, with responsibilities ranging from running screenings, checking film files for technical specs, to cutting festival promo trailers and filmmaker interviews. Jake also works as a freelance film editor, having edited 4 independent short films, an upcoming feature documentary, and online learning tutorial videos for CUNY Kingsborough. He also writes film reviews, both for The Knockturnal and his own personal blog, @jakekingfilmreviews. Jake is an avid film buff and loves to collaborate with artists to help their stories be told, something he values deeply. Website
