We’re in the middle of a new Indie Boom. It deserves a new kind of festival.
Creators everywhere are making groundbreaking work that’s changing the rules. And the way that audiences and industry discover that work is also changing. People watch on tablets, computers, phones and streaming devices. A large fanbase helps filmmakers skip to the head of the line with funders and industry.
So, what if there was an online film festival that rewarded you for building an audience, which you could take with you into crowdfunding, fundraising or pitching your next project?
IndieBOOM! is designed for the hustlers.
The better you promote, the better your chances to win.
IndieBOOM! is an international, independent film festival devoted to the best short films and original content from all over the world. Created by the team at the award winning Art of Brooklyn Film Festival, IndieBOOM! is for filmmakers and short-form content creators working everywhere, in all genre categories. There are no restrictions on completion date, as long as the films run no longer than 40 minutes.
We stream online and on the Roku channel of our partner Brooklyn On Demand, an independent film and media platform with over 16,000 subscribers — and growing.
