FRAmMENTIDance, Italy
Directed by Luca Di Bartolo and Alessadro Cascioli "Like Petruska, who with his melancholy has little of the typical Russian puppet (a popular figure with a joker and dishonest soul), so are we: vibrant but apathetic souls in this new whirlwind of unexpected situations. In recent months, helpless in the face of the onslaught of events, we have seen our lives flowing before our eyes. It happened to me. The fears, future fears and remorse of the past have revealed themselves as the cruelest of demons. We are a world submerged by daily frenzy and every silence ever lived becomes an insurmountable mountain. From here FRAmMENTI was born. Four minds full of different, but unique emotions, fragmented in a painting that tells a soul: mine. I wanted to talk about myself as I have never done, but making the essence of each interpreter a fundamental part of this work. It was like composing that puzzle which is always missing a piece, like experiencing those emotions that do not arise every day but that are there, hidden. Loneliness as opposed to the strength of souls and the fundamental cohesion of all the nuances of one's being." |
